Poverty, the state or condition of having little or no money, goods, or means of support, is a state nobody wants to be in and those who are affected by it try to escape. There’s no such thing as a silver bullet when it comes to getting out of this bad situation. This is because not everyone gets the same opportunities. Yet, there’s a mindset everyone focusing on becoming successful should try to acquire and maintain.

Mentality

You want to be a rich man, then think like one. The human mind works in many mysterious ways. Believing that you have everything under control, leads to you having everything under control. if you don’t believe in yourself, why should others? Set a certain goal and dream big. This is one of the rare situations in life, in which overestimating yourself is not the wrong thing to do. Remember that the majority of the human population is not rich. So doing something that they don’t consider normal, could end up making you different.

Fear

While rich people play the game to win, poor people play not to loose. Some don’t even play at all. Losing a battle doesn’t mean you’ve lost the war. In general, the bigger the risk, the bigger the return. The term “investing not to loose” describes people that are overwhelmed with fear. One negative experience limits their financial growth.

The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown. – H. P. Lovecraft

Obstacles

Show me your friends and i will tell you who you are.

If nine of your friends smoke, you could end up being number ten. If you can’t find a way to handle the obstacles in your life, get rid of them. Associating with positive or successful people can make a big difference. If you party every weekend, you should have no problem answering the following questions. What are you celebrating? Can the people you meet help you start or expand your legal business?

Budget

Knowing your budget, an estimate and often itemized of expected income and expense for a given period in the future, is worth gold. Never spend money you don’t have on things you don’t need to impress people you don’t even like. Learn how to manage your finances and don’t spend your anual salary on a car just because your neighbour bought a 80’000$ vehicle. You’re not him.
