Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. Not only is she a successful artist, but also a successful mother. If I were to name someone who has great influence on today’s young ladies, Beyoncé wouldn’t stay unmentioned. As the wife of a successful business man and rapper known as Jay-Z, Queen B has made herself a great international reputation.
Her last video for the song “Formation” made a powerful impact and impressed most people who are into her genres of music. I would say she’s at the peak of her career. So what’s the latest sensation Beyoncé has to offer? With her squad of fitness enthusiasts, Beyoncé showcases looks from her 200-piece new sportswear collection. What stands out is the way she designed her leggings. They work from the inside out and come in three tiers of shapes; “I” (low-rise), “V” (mid-rise), and “Y” (high-rise), not to mention that their inner contour shorts enhance and flatter a range of physiques.
The collection’s price is estimated between 30$ and 200$, which makes it affordable for everyone. Even though the athleisure line is expected to come out on the 14. April 2016, fans are already going crazy. The instagram page “@weareivypark“already counts 88’000 followers even though the page only contains 10 pictures. The Name Ivy Park relates to her daughter’s name, Ivy Blue, and Parkwood Park, where she used to run as a child to help build up her stamina for shows. She tells the story:
I would wake up in the morning, and my dad would come knocking on my door, telling me it’s time to go running. I remember wanting to stop, but I would push myself to keep going. It taught me discipline and I would think about my dreams; I would think about the sacrifices my parents made for me. I would think about my little sister and how I was her hero. I would look at the beauty around me, the sunshine through the trees; I would keep breathing. There are things I’m still afraid of; When I have to conquer those things I still go back to that park. Before I hit the stage I go back to that park. When it was time for me to give birth, I went back to that park. The park became a state of mind. The park became my strength. The park is what made me who I am. Where is your park?
