When looking for the craziest business ideas, I came across very interesting and successful businesses that I never thought they existed. Some business ideas make you wonder how the founder managed to be successful with them. You even might ask yourself, “How can this be true?” or  “How can something like that be so successful?”. It would be even more interesting to know if other entrepreneurs have tried these models. You will be surprised and inspired by the following crazy business ideas.

Hangover Helpers

When you hear Hangover Helpers you might first think about some medicines to get over an hangover really quick. But that’s wrong, it is more than that. You will never be worried about how to clean all the mess after a party. The company was founded by two college students in Boulder, Colorado. The Hangover Helpers staff will come prepared to make the place look like the party has never happened. The greatest part about the service is, that they will even serve you breakfast and a drink while you relax. Even though you will not get over your hangover right away, it’s still a pretty cool idea to wake up with a “cleaning crew” that serves you breakfast. If you are interested in learning more you can visit their website at www.helpinghangovers.com.

DivorceHotel

If you decide to divorce, then you need to know the Dutch Company DivorceHotel. The entrepreneur from Netherland named Jim Halfens has created a concept offering married people quick divorces, which can be agreed over the course of just two days instead of several weeks. If you checked in on Friday as a married couple, then you check out on Sunday divorced with papers in hand with the help of mediators and independent lawyers. The soon-to-be-divorced couple remains entirely anonymous. Nobody will know about the reason of the stay. Once the divorcing couple leaves the hotel, the only thing left to do is to show the agreement to a judge, as required in Dutch law. If you think about the mess some married couples have to go through, this is a pleasant idea. It has become so popular that several television companies in the US are trying to make a documentary series out of it.

Doggle

german-shepherd-857106_1280 When I searched on Google for the business idea Doggles and looked at the pictures, I just could not do anything with all these dogs wearing glasses. Doggles are Googles and the only eye protection designed and created just for dogs. Doggles were invented by Roni and Ken Di Lullo after they noticed their dog squinting in the sunlight. The Doggles go beyond being a fashion accessory, they’ve proven to be very practical too. Can you imagine that these glasses are sold in 4500 stores across 16 countries? For more go to Doogles website.

Pet Rock

Would you spend more than 3$ for a rock? Probably not! In 1978, Gary Dahl found himself in a bar, listening to his friends complaining about their pets. He then joked that the perfect pet would be a rock. No walkings, feeding or bathing anymore. A pet rock wouldn’t misbehave, get sick, or even die. They were the perfect pets! A simple joke that he managed to sell $15 million worth of rocks within just 6 months.

The Million Dollar Homepage

The site was created in 2005 by Alex Tew, a 21-year-old student from Wiltshire. He was looking a way to raise money to finance his studies at the University of Nottingham. As most of us know a pixel is the lowest unit in a display screen. But Tew’s idea was to try and make $1 mio. by selling 1 million pixels for $1 each. The purchasers of these pixel blocks provided tiny images to be displayed on them, a URL to which the images were linked, and a slogan to be displayed when hovering a curso over the link. Somehow, the idea took off and in less than a year, The Million Dollar Homepage brought in $1,037,100 in gross income. Check it out on milliondollarhomepage.com.
